About WhoAi

Hiring is the most important thing we do in business. And it's the one we most often get wrong. At WhoAi, we're on a mission to help leaders hire with clarity and confidence.

We believe there is a better way.

At WhoAi, we're on a mission to help leaders hire with clarity and confidence. Our AI-enabled platform is based on the proven method from Who: The A Method for Hiring, and backed by 20 years of research and real-world success. WhoAi empowers organizations to implement the Who method at scale by reducing time, effort, guesswork, and cost, while supporting and elevating the essential human element of hiring. With the right team in place, organizations thrive. And thriving organizations create better outcomes for all.

As an early-stage, AI-powered SaaS startup, we're operationalizing this methodology through AI, making it accessible to organizations of every size and applying it across the full talent lifecycle.

We're proven first, AI second. Human wisdom, accelerated by technology.

The Role

We're looking for a Senior Product Designer who thrives at the pace of agentic development. You'll work hand in hand with our product team to turn loose concepts into shipped product, drafting new designs daily and iterating in tight loops with engineers. The pace is fast, the surface area is wide, and the design problems are genuinely new. Bringing a proven methodology into modern AI enabled software doesn't have a settled playbook, and you'll help us write it.

This is a high ownership role. You'll be trusted to drive design end to end, partner closely with product on shaping what we build, and help define how AI shows up in our product in ways that feel human, trustworthy, and grounded.

What You'll Do

  • Partner with product to take loose concepts and turn them into clear, shippable designs
  • Iterate quickly, drafting, refining, and shipping new designs daily
  • Keep pace with agentic development by designing in tight loops with engineers as features evolve
  • Own the design of major product features, from initial problem framing through implementation
  • Tackle complex challenges across information architecture, navigation, layout, interaction, and visual design
  • Help refine what WhoAi is and where it's headed by contributing to product direction, not just executing on it
  • Write specs and design documents to align engineering, product, and leadership on key decisions
  • Help build and maintain a design system that keeps the product cohesive as it grows
  • Design AI enabled experiences that feel like a trusted advisor, empowering the people using our product rather than replacing their judgment

What You Bring

  • 4+ years of product design experience in desktop SaaS, with meaningful time in B2B
  • Ability to think from first principles instead of simply applying "standard" UX processes
  • Skill at breaking down complex user problems by asking questions that narrow the solution space
  • Enough experience that your intuition can solve many usability problems without relying solely on data, metrics, or user research
  • Curiosity and resourcefulness to come up with creative solutions and de-risk them appropriately
  • Strong skills in information architecture, layout, navigation, UI, and interaction design
  • Strong visual design skills and an obsession with craft and details
  • Genuine curiosity about AI, not just as a user, but as a designer thinking about what new interaction paradigms it makes possible
  • Bonus: experience at an early stage startup or as a solo designer on a team

Why You Might Love This Role

  • You'll have real ownership over a product designed for some of the most consequential decisions organizations make: who they hire and how they grow their people
  • You'll work directly with founders, product, and engineers who care deeply about design
  • You'll help shape what WhoAi becomes, not just how it looks
  • You'll help define what AI enabled design looks like in a category that's overdue for reinvention

This Might Not Be the Right Fit If

  • You prefer slow, structured design cycles over rapid iteration
  • You want a tightly scoped role with detailed briefs handed to you
  • You're uncomfortable making design decisions independently
  • You'd rather not engage with AI as a core part of your design practice
  • You strongly prefer in-person work over remote and async collaboration
